Optimization Software Developers

LINDO Systems is looking for exceptional candidates to contribute to our ongoing development of optimization software. We are looking for individuals with at least a Masters or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Applied Math, CS, or a related area, to specialize in the research and development of optimization algorithms for linear, integer and/or nonlinear programming. Expertise in the full range of techniques for nonlinear programming, branch and bound, general mixed-integer programming, and global optimization is especially desired. Web Master/Documentation Manager

The ideal applicant has both documentation and website management skills. Desired website management skills are: general web site management, HTML, and Perl. Website security, C/C++ programming skill would be useful. Desired documentation skills are: good writing skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word, creation of Index and TOC, Adobe Acrobat/pdf, Front Page, mathematical notation, and LaTex. Some experience with ad layout, Macromedia Freehand, and Adobe Pagemaker would be useful. Position is full time.

Software Developers

LINDO Systems is looking for exceptional candidates to play an integral part in the development of new optimization algorithms and user interfaces. These individuals will be involved in challenging projects such as designing GUIs, extending our modeling systems, and developing native APIs to the callable library from various languages. The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in computer science, or a related area, with a strong background in data structures and algorithms, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional programming skills. Experience in C is a must. Experience in several of the following would be an advantage: VBA, C++, MFC, WIN32 API, OLE, COM, FORTRAN, and ODBC.
